The Fixed Point staff is small but efficient:
Larry Taunton is founder and Executive Director of Fixed Point Foundation and Latimer House. Like Fixed Point itself, Larry specializes in addressing issues of faith and culture. A published author, he is the recipient of numerous awards and research grants. He is Executive Producer of the films "Science and the God Question" (September 2007), "The God Delusion Debate" (November 2007), and the upcoming film "Christians and Atheists: Our Best Arguments." (TBD) Larry has taught apologetics at Trinity Seminary in the newly established Fellows Program and formerly taught European and Russian history. He holds academic degrees from Samford University and the University of Alabama and is pursuing a doctorate at Trinity. He and his wife Lauri live in Birmingham with their three boys.
Hannah Sooter is the Public Relations and Events Coordinator of Fixed Point Foundation. She is a Birmingham native and a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she earned a BA in Business Administration. Hannah first became aware of Fixed Point through a college Bible study. After a trip to Europe with Fixed Point, Hannah decided she wanted to make a career of it. She is something of a "utility player", but is chiefly responsible for Latimer House. She also handles all questions concerning Bible studies, conferences, and event planning.
A native of Birmingham, Ben Halbrooks serves as the Technical Supervisor and webmaster, among other roles. After attending several Bible studies in high school, Ben's involvement with Fixed Point progressed from volunteer to intern. Ben graduated with honors from Rhodes College in 2007, where he studied Biology and Film. His job entails everything from updating the website to editing film for Fixed Point productions. Ben is talented artistically and enjoys producing his own short films in his spare time.

Seth Tarrer is the latest addition to the Fixed Point staff. Seth holds degrees from Auburn University, Beeson Divinity School, and he is currently completing doctoral research in theology at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. A published theologian, Seth's fields of study have been Interpretation and Historical Theology. In addition to his administrative duties, Seth is a skilled researcher and teacher. He is particularly passionate about making otherwise difficult theological concepts both understood and practical. He and his wife Mary live in Birmingham with their three boys.

When Alan Halbrooks was a freshman in high school, his older brother persuaded him to attend a Fixed Point Bible study. Like Ben, Alan first served as a volunteer and is now an intern. But Alan's role is much more important than the word "intern" would suggest. He does technical work and also plays a key role in the production of all Fixed Point Films. Alan was valedictorian of his class at Spain Park High School and is now a junior at Samford University where he is studying English and History. Alan plans to enter the teaching profession.

Michael Taunton has been a part of Fixed Point Foundation in one capacity or another all of his life. The son of Fixed Point's executive director, Michael reflects a lot of his father's interests. As a Fixed Point intern, Michael is our technology specialist and content editor for all Fixed Point Films. He is a junior at Samford University and is pursuing degrees in Classics and business. Michael plans to attend law school.
